The short version
Cubesweeper does not collect, store or share any personal data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no network features. Everything happens on your device.
What the app stores on your device
The app keeps a small amount of data in its own local storage so it can remember you between sessions:
- your settings (sound on/off, chosen game mode and size, graphics quality, whether the intro has been shown),
- your best times per mode and size,
- the game you have in progress, so it can be resumed after the app is closed.
This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app (or clearing the site data in your browser for the web version) deletes it.
What the app does not do
- No personal information is collected or requested.
- No data is sent to the developer or to third parties.
- No analytics, crash reporting or advertising SDKs are included.
- No permissions beyond what the operating system grants every app. The Android app declares the Internet permission only because the app framework requires it; the game makes no network requests.
Sharing a board
The "Share" button on the result screen hands a link to your device's share sheet. The link contains only the board's mode, size and seed, never anything about you. What you do with the link is up to you.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and, as described above, collects no data from anyone.
